Question: For me the course is optional. Why, as a computer science student, should I be interested?

Answer: There are two reasons. As you know, the flash player is by far`the best media platform for the web. So, first you may learn how to program the flash display, using actionscript and the flex SDK. Secondly, it allows you to be creative and develop your own mini-game on top of interactive video, or even to develop a unique personal interactive experience by customizing the XIMPEL player with your own programs, as indicated in the outline(s)!
